Private kitchens run $3,500 to $4,500 a month by unit size, plus a $300 utility fee that covers gas, water and electricity. Storage and parking cost extra if you need them.
What is in each kitchen?
Every unit has a 10-ft commercial hood with gas and electrical ready to hook up, 3-compartment prep, hand and food sinks, and 3-phase power. Ask on your tour what each open unit has today.
How do the two offers work?
The Hub Kitchens offers 15% off your first month, or 3 months free with a 6-month commitment. Your tour goes through which applies to the unit you want and how it is written into your lease.
How long is the lease?
The 6-month commitment comes with 3 months free, and month-to-month is available. Long-term tenants are preferred.
Can I get in at any hour?
Yes. The building is open 24/7, with 24-hour unrestricted access to your private kitchen, so you can prep before dawn for an event or bake through the night. The walk-ins and the pickup window are open whenever you are.
How do I get my health permit?
In LA County each food business files its own health permit for the kitchen it cooks in. The county asks for the kitchen's signed lease, a floor plan and spec sheets for your equipment.
What do I need to apply?
The online application asks for your insurance, your health permit and your business license. Book a tour first: you see the unit you want, and we go through the application and the lease terms with you.
How do delivery drivers pick up?
Drivers buzz the gate intercom, your phone gets a notification, and you hand the order out at the pickup window.
Is there loading and parking?
Yes. The building has loading bays for catering vans and deliveries, and limited parking at extra cost. Ask on your tour which parking spaces are open and what they cost each month.
